The article «Suomen evankelis-luterilaisen kirkon vuoden 2000 Jumalanpalvelusten kirja ja kristittyjen yhteys» examines the Worship Book of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland was published in 2000 in the context of ecumenical milestones like the Porvoo Declaration (1996) and the Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification (1999). The Finnish Luther-research’s key idea «Christ is present in faith» gave a basis to apply Trinitarian and holistic ecumenical theology to liturgy. The intention was to join both to the western liturgical tradition and to the heritage of the undivided church. The main theological principles were: 1) trinitarism, 2) real presence and 3) dialogue. From the BEM document the ideas of sacrifice, anamnesis and epiclesis were received.
